The Slug is Back!
I picked up my Dog Slugger today and brought him home. He had been staying with some friends since we moved out of our old house and we finally brought him home today. Thanks to Lonnie & Anita for taking such great care of Slugger. Macy & Mallory were beside themselves to see Slugger again. Needless to say, the Slugger Dog has been treated like royalty tonight.

Things Lonnie and Anita will remember about Slugger during our time as foster parents... a)no dog enjoys a good meal more than Slugger b)no dog barks as loud as Slugger as he anxiously awaits his meals to be served c)it was beautiful watching him rediscover manhood in his courtship with Peaches d)Slugger eats anything... including cat poop e)Slugger eats a lot, sniffs a lot, and sleeps a lot. Peaches and Bloomer are just not the same without ole' Slug in the backyard!
Here is some sports trivia. In Santa Cruz, the university (University of California Santa Cruz) UCSC, the name of the mascot for the school is the bananna slug. So the athletic teams are called The Slugs.
